Previewing Industry Summit – The Product Conference

Jennifer Ives and Julia Slattery join us on this episode of The Innovation Engine to discuss the upcoming Industry Summit conference, which will take place in Cleveland on September 14th and 15th.

Industry Summit is a product-focused conference that will see talks from a wide range of product leaders and tech visionaries. Speakers include Bob Moesta, creator of the Jobs to Be Done framework; Jason Fried, the founder of Basecamp; Nancy Kramer of IBM iX; and many others. 3Pillar is one of the event’s sponsors, and Julia will be taking The Innovation Engine on the road to Cleveland, where she’ll be recording the next episode of podcast live from the event floor.

In addition to that tidbit of news, we’re also happy to introduce Jennifer Ives to The Innovation Engine audience and to share the news that Jennifer will be hosting some episodes of the podcast in the future with guests like Shelby Coffey, Vice Chariman of the Newseum and a long-time trailblazer in the media industry, and Dr. Carla Brodley of Northeastern University, who’s one of the leading voices calling for concerted effort to be made to attract more women to Computer Science and traditional STEM fields.

Tune in to this episode for a preview of what Jennifer and Julia are most looking forward to seeing and hearing at Industry Summit, as well as to hear more about Jennifer’s background, including her Talent is Transforming podcast.
