Erik Isaksen Presents on Building Prototypes with Node, AngularJS, & Web Components at the NoVa Node Meetup
Erik Isaksen, a Senior UX Engineer at 3Pillar, gave a presentation at a recent NoVa Node Meetup on how to build digital prototypes using Node, Angular, & Web Components.
"Each of these pieces is useful individually. When used in combination, Web Components enable Web application authors to define widgets with a level of visual richness and interactivity not possible with CSS alone, and ease of composition and reuse not possible with script libraries today."

In his presentation, Erik covers what prototypes are & what they are not at 3Pillar Global.
What are they?
Tangible, rapidly built and rapidly architected representations of ideas that can be tested by users.
What aren’t they?
Production-ready code that can be launched into the marketplace.
Much of the experience gleaned for this presentation came in working on Product Vector, an internal project at 3Pillar that we built over the course of 6 months in 2013 to help clients more closely align development work to business outcomes. Erik worked on the prototype for this incredible product using Web Components, Angular.js, & Node.js.
