This year, the 2015 UXDC Conference will be held on October 9th and 10th in Washington, DC. 3Pillar Global is sponsoring the first day of the conference, which will feature over 30 sessions focused on topics including UX strategy, UX across disciplines, the theory and practice of UX, and more.
The conference will include User Experience professionals, designers of varying levels, UX students, and a multitude of experts from UX-related fields coming together to discuss UX strategy, how to deliver results, and ways for UX professionals to advance their careers.
The conference will feature 35 hours of keynotes, interactive and lightning talks, panels, portfolio reviews, and workshops. As the largest UX conference in the DC Metro area, UXDC is designed to utilize DC’s government, nonprofit, association, and business organizations to give UX influencers the chance to talk about strategy and delivering results.
The conference is put on by the DC chapter of the User Experience Professionals’ Association, or UXPA. UXPA is a non-profit, highly active community of individuals in over 60 countries who are interested in usability, user experience design, interaction design, and their many related fields. The DC chapter focuses on bringing innovative UX-related programming to both its members and the larger DC community. The chapter also pulls from local resources to create opportunities for the exploration of UX intersections within contexts, professions, and practices to improve the work of individuals, teams, and organizations.
