Kevin Golden

General Counsel

Kevin Golden is 3Pillar’s General Counsel and manages all aspects of the company’s global legal affairs, including setting corporate legal strategy and priorities, M&A, corporate governance, advising senior management and the Board, compliance, intellectual property, and negotiating commercial contracts within corporate risk parameters.

Before joining 3Pillar, Kevin spent over 20 years applying his passion for technology and his broad legal background to help build global technology companies, including AOL, VeriSign and Network Solutions. Most recently, he served as General Counsel of GlobalLogic, an international Product Development Services provider, where he helped drive significant growth and shareholder value through strategic commercial transactions, international expansion, and a sale of the company to a private equity buyer.

Throughout his career, Kevin has earned recognition for his collaborative, pragmatic approach to helping leaders craft sound business solutions that strike the right balance between risks and benefits. In his first year with GlobalLogic, he earned the CEO’s “Rookie of the Year” award for his leadership in revamping the company’s commercial transactions processes. He earned similar recognition during his tenure with AOL and was designated by VeriSign’s CEO as a member of the company’s “Dream Team.”

Kevin received his B.A. (with honors) in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He earned his law degree from the University of Maryland, where he served as an editor of the Maryland Law Review.
