Colin deSa is SVP of Product Engineering and CTO of 3Pillar Global, where he has technical oversight across all 3Pillar Global’s delivery centers. He has played a key role in our expansion in the US, Eastern Europe, Latin America and India. Colin led the implementation of agile development practices at 3Pillar Global, greatly improving visibility, flexibility and delivery times. He continues to lead efforts to develop and refine best practices for distributed agile development. Colin is also responsible for leading R&D at 3Pillar Global. His interests are in mobile systems including sensor-based technologies, Big Data, and distributed agile development strategies to improve the efficiency of distributed product development.

Colin has a proven track record in building new software products and services as well as in executing the turn around and repositioning of existing products. He has successfully led the development of a wide range of products in diverse domains including Internet security, health care, CRM, and bond trading. Colin has an M.S in mathematics from Colorado State University and an M.S in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. He has nine patents in digital cryptosystems and broadband digital multimedia.
